• Ok, so I finally got the pictures of this from my cousin (some are pretty random angles but I've put them all up anyway), giving this a little bump and a price drop to £475! Has to suit someone.
He's also told me that the frame is actually 61cm, and it's got a sticker which verifies that (don't know where I got 56/58 from, sorry about that!).

Basically, I was visiting my cousin earlier today and noticed that he had a beautiful SS up in his room. The guy recently completely shattered his collarbone by going head over heels after hitting a pothole on a Boris bike.
It's a crying shame but he bought this Seibring Cooper brand new from Evans a few months ago for £750, he's rode it MAX five times, and it's definitely not covered more than 100miles (and the day before he went off the Boris bike he got it serviced at Evans so it's literally as new).
I would love to have taken the bike from him but I don't feel like I could make a fair offer on it so said that I wouldn't mind listing it on here for him and seeing if anyone was interested as it's a shame to see it just sit there and gather dust, and he missed a month of commission centric work when he was in the hospital/rehabilitating so selling the bike might help him make a bit of that up too.

The bike is exactly as here: http://www.evanscycles.com/products/cooper/t100-sebring-2010-single-speed-road-bike-ec022428
but he switched the Brooks saddle for another one as he felt it wasn't comfy enough (I know, I know!) and has upgraded the tires to Michelin Pro-Race 3's which are as new too and cost nearly £40 a pair. Flip-flop hub so can ride fixed or ss.

I hadn't seen one of them before but it really is a nice bike, pretty light and everything is finished really well and it's clear its a high quality build.

I figured £500 was a fair price for the bike given the condition it's in. If anyone's interested let me know! He lives in St. Katherine's dock and should be available most evenings.

Hopefully someone can take this gorgeous bike and give it the use it deserves! Cheers guys.

  • IMO they are overpriced from new and with that in mind I think £500 is quite optimistic unfortunately.

  • Yeah, I think they are a bit overpriced as new, but the thing is literally as new, so I hoped knocking £250 off the new price might make it a bit more palatable!
I honestly don't think it's overpriced at £500, it really is a nice bike and I'd hate for him to go heavily out of pocket on it. If I hadn't spent about the same doing my own bike up I'd be all over it!

Have added even more pics, and as mentioned have dropped price to £475, that's nearly half the retail and what was originally paid!

  • No one?!?!

  • Not at that price. Way expensive.

  • Really? Given how much it was bought for, I figured £475 was a good price, it is a good bike after all. Granted it was overpriced new, but £475 for an essentially new top quality fixed/ss isn't bad, surely? How much would you suggest. He might be open to dropping the price, I just didn't want to stiff him and end up making him take a £300 loss on it!

  • Bump, £450.

    Someone... surely!!!!

  • I'd probably try on ebay. Too many people on here have got bargains on nicer frames, so you end up with pretty stiff competition. Hopefully on ebay you'll do better

  • £450 for an essentially brand new complete set-up of a relatively decent bike isn't a bad price at all though! It's nearly 50% off what it was bought for not very long ago! I might look into eBay but I'm not too comfortable selling stuff like this on there, would rather deal with a more reputable lot as we have on here!

  • Frame only?

  • No! Entire bike! Good to ride, serviced a few weeks ago!

  • I'll give you 200 for it

  • Jog on

  • good luck

  • nice tyres

  • i remember when my cooper sebring looked like this, now it is battered bruised, had it's wheels stolen and replaced, covered in stickers - which btw have now faded, but she still rides like a beaut

  • Buy this one then haha

  • Right, so things have taken a further turn for the worst. The titanium plate my cousin got to hold his collarbone back in shape somehow shattered last week, so he's got to go back into hospital and get a bone graft from his hip to fix it. Not great.
He works in a very commission-centric sales role and is going to get absolutely screwed because of it so has told me he'll take £400 for the bike as he's now worried about being able to pay the rent this month.
It's not a lot considering what's for sale here, surely someone is interested and willing to help out? I've knocked £100 off the asking price, I can't go any lower or hes better off keeping it. Anyone?!

  • I literally just bought the exact same bike today (8/31/16) I only paid a $120 US... I live in the San Francisco area. (U.S.).... im not trying to knock your post by any means what's so ever! I got it this cheap because it was obvious the guy needed the money to get high. I said all i have is $120 then handed me the bike! While on the SUBWAY a guy (stranger) said "if I gave $350 right now, can i get your bike?" Made me think quick... I said NO.. came home tonfind out other people arent selling them cheaper then $500...

What this guy is selling at is a great price! Don't pass it up.
