This...../\/\/.....Totally should be the case...Anyone that paints things that have such a patina...and thats not to be all Brian Sewell about it...it's life experience, it's sweat and tears in paint wear...
Anyone that paints frames that have this aura of past greatness, as opposed to being ratty..(yes it's a slim line, tho I wouldn't ever repaint anything unless it was completely necessary!!!) Unfortunately I think are heathens, or devoid of any historical romance (what was that about brian sewell...;D)...
There is no good excuse.
Oh....and If you have enough room, You can have as many bikes or frames as makes you happy...;D
I have in the last 12 months, got rid of everything...leaving myself with 2 racers, and 1 frame...Having had so, so many...and It hasn't been pleasant...It was a f*cking wrench...If you have the room...then buy and keep whatever is nice to ride (and generally if they are nice to ride... they are nice to look at...one Good thing about Quality frames)...You don't have to ride them all the time, just looking at an ace quality frame is healthy.
I had a super Ratty dawes galaxy nicked last year too, it looked shite tho rode so nicely, it pleased me daily to ride it.
It's a fair price for a good frame, ...It's a beauty.
