    I had a period of knee pain a few years back and this is what I did after adjusting the adjustable.

    Took a daily supplement of Glucosamine Sulphate which helped and I don't care if it was a placebo effect.

    I looked at my diet. I find that big doses of red meat make my knees hurt. Sometimes tomato does the same. And sometimes aubergine. I think tiredness makes me susceptible to some foods with knock on pain in my knees.

    Either way it's worth looking at other possible causes.
