  • Light is supernova e3.
Can't tell whether front hub is Son Edelux or a SP (shutter precision)
Which is about half the price probably just as good and slightly lighter than the Son.

  • light is a supernova e3

    http://supernova-lights.com/en/products/e3_triple.html

    not sure about the hub

  • What is the purpose of that Geekhouse? Why no mudguards? Why a straight fork on a wannabe randonneuse?
If it had guards it wouldn't need top run cables -which are ugly.
    I no like.
Dynamo wiring up the fork is nice tho'

  • Thanks.

The Geekhouse is a confused HipHopRandoBeik, but maybe guardless is still functional in California? 53/39 chainset with mtb cassette? Why?

  • 'Merkin maybe, most states have very little rainfall, like California where mudguard are not exactly a necessary.

  • I think the Geekhouse is more of a roadie than an audax, put a normal road cassette and removed the rack - roadie.

  • ...roadie...roadie...

  • ^^^ The southwest is more the exception, there's enough rainfall to warrant fenders in most of Usonia.

  • Where it belongs.

  • Where it belongs.

    better off in anti>>>>>

would not like to ride that

  • Another confused bike.
Porteur with bear traps and what's up with suspension post and stem on a bike with c 42mm tyres?

    Annodised parts are lush though

    :-)

  • I would totally love to own one.

  • Maybe the owner has piles. And brittle bones. And loose eyeballs which must not be rattled around under doctors orders.

    We shouldn't judge.

  • I Love the ND!!

  • Not sure this is the right thread for this but it has to go somewhere. The engineering thats gone in to it is amazing.

  • Wouldn't a tricycle make more sense vis simplicity/strength/lower weight/cost/et cetera? Could be either 2 wheels in front or in back depending on stability needs and costs.
    mobility thread >>>

  • I would have loved that today. Marshalling a 20 mile running race down the Thames Path.

But is it 4wd? doesn't look like it.

Exceptionally well made, but totally overbuilt, much heavier and sturdier than it needs to be and is missing the most fun feature for such a contraption (4wd).

  • Definitely functional, in terms of moving people:

  • Quite an odd mix, but some how I like it:

  • The Chainguard really ruined it.

  • Ordinarily I would say the following ruined it;

    • ugly bars
    • ugly shifter
    • colour coded red stem
    • modern saddle
    • thomson post
    • crankset

...but somehow it just seems to work and I definitely wouldn't put the chain guard in the list.

  • Stem, saddle, bar and shifter I don't mind, crankset look odd and overbuild for the type of bike IMHO.

  • The Chainguard really ruined it.

    not functionally
