It's really interesting to see that link. That's my bike all right!
Popped it in to a local bike shop to see if they could remove the stuck seat post, who passed it on to some welder who worked next door.. I am presuming it is he who took the photographs of the bike in search of help.
We never could get the post unstuck, which is probably why I lost faith in restoring it.
Looking at those pics now, I wish I never took it to pieces! It's nice to see the comments about the bike as I was under the impression that such a bike would be worthless now!
