180 is too high price for this frame set. drop 50 and the price will be fair enough

probably worth mentioning that this has the infamous 24tpi threading in the fork.
meaning that once you've used the headset you won't find another one and you need to switch forks.
had one which i sold a year and a half ago. plenty fun.
and here it is: -

24tpi is standard for ISO, JIS and Italian 1" threaded headsets and would therefore be no prob to replace.
So I'm guessing you mean some other size that the Russians are fond of...

that is correct as i'm drunk at this point.
correct answer(after googling) was the raleigh standard which is 26tpi.
so not 24tpi but 26tpi.from Sheldon:
Although the diameters are the same as B.S.C., the different thread pitch makes the parts incompatible.

very polite for a newbie.
you don't have to post shit like that just to get out of nursery. -

Im surprised a Russian made bicycle would have a threading from an English company. I don't dispute it as I don't know anything about this make. Just seems curious.
Sometimes raleigh 26 tpi headsets do come up on ebay though. I bought one a while ago. Keep an eye out and one will come along.
interesting frame, hope it sells!

It's not the pitch that is the problem here, but the metric diameter of the steerer instead of imperial.
Plus the 2x RH BB-shell threading. -

Hi, is this still up for sale?
Love the frame, just wondering, what´s the diameter of the seat post?
And what´s the spacing for the rear hub? Thanks! -

Had a golden one once and loved it....
Just buy and be happy!
1986 58cm USSR XB3 Rekord frame & forks
Original headset, works perfectly
Sugino bb and sugino crankset with a 48t chainring
Seat post and San Marco rolls saddle (seats in bad condition, very old)
I am looking to sell for £180, this is one of my favourite frames I've ever owned, very sad to see it go but I need the money and can't justify keeping it any longer
Pictures coming later, at work ATM and uploading this thread from my phone
