Nothing actually helpful to add except that the idea of the dog riding in a trailer behind me in traffic makes me nervous for some reason. Possibly because our last dog was a total idiot who couldn't have been trusted not to try to escape or otherwise cause trouble at the most inopportune moments.
I always thought a long john might be the answer for some reason. In fact now that we're considering re-entering the wonderful world of hound ownership I just bought a copy of the Atomic Zombie book and started idly considering bodging something together (it's insanely unlikely this will ever happen, I can barely make the bed but I can doodle and daydream with the best of them)
Stanley's a fine looking fellow by the way. I'm guessing he's a lurcher and at 25kg maybe a whippet cross?
