It's expensive because it's custom CNC-ed titanium. Personally I don't see it as viable to kit an entire bike out with it and assume it's completely safe from thieves on the streets of London. If the frame or components are valuable enough, it's going to be worth someone cutting the lock / stand / frame / seatpost and dealing with the bolts later.
I do think it's excellent for securing a few key bits on a bike you regularly lock up, particularly seatpost / saddle, and stem / steerer.
