Hello everyone,
would anybody here happen to know if Mario Vaz (in Hither Green?) still paints frames or offers repairs?
I recently picked up a Joe Waugh frameset which was previously refinished by Mario Vaz, it hasn't been built up since the restoration but I've found a small dent on the fork that I'd like to get brass filled and then re-finished to the same colour so the bike looks ok.
Mercian have offered to do this for a reasonable price (free postage this month apparently) - whether they can match the colour remains to be seen, but I can't seem to track down Mario Vaz...his old website seems to be gone.
Do you know if Mario is still active? If you have a phone number or email address please let me know.... :)
