  • I had the full tasting menu there last year - it was probably the single most dreadful night I have ever spent in a restaurant. I have never eaten anything as disgusting as their Oyster Ice Cream.

    The biggest problem I had with it was that they had clearly bought a load of toys - de-hydrators, water-baths, liquid nitrogen etc, and just felt they had to use them, without any love, or care. I use liquid nitrogen myself, but the way they did the horseradish snow when I was there was just a bit slovenly. It may, or may not have worked with the scallops, but it wasn't a revelation.
