Those power figures sound about right to be honest, the whiteblock five has .7 of a litre and an additional cylinder to make power with and they're doing around 450-470.
Difficult to judge that said as the yanks always quote wheel horsepower (that's auto's for you) and we go for crank.
Ricky2slicky- that's what I'm afraid of, but I'm going to try anyway, I reckon a really good wax with the equivalent of factor 50 in it might help.
I'm buggered if I'm spending 2K on a respray.
