Posh Food

off to the ivy for our xmas night out in a few weeks
i know it doesn't quite get the rave reviews it did once upon a time, but i'm still quite exited about going there
i get to see behind the dark green glass and see what it's like inside

had our do last friday
private room upstairs
pretty poor appetisers to go along with the bubbly on arrival
celery and cucumber wrapped in something or rather tasted of absolutely nothing few bowls of peanuts and crisps
then on to the meal itself
delicious scallops starter
beef wellington main
pavlova for desert

must say i was well impressed with the taste the quantity and the place itself
well worth a visit if only to say you've been there
