the whole olympic park is blocked at the minute but if you just wait another two years there'll be lovely cycle lanes all the way through westfield olympic park and it's environs
currently mile end road / or A106 Eastway are the only options north and south of the log jam ... sadly

just two years to wait for elegant lovely cycling through landscaped gardens

not long at all though

for now i'm just taking mare st (etc) up to the roundabout then lea bridge road all the way. it's much longer than a "direct" route would be but at least I know what i'm riding on won't suddenly run out at a 5-lane roundabout with all the lorries like honk honk get outta da way
