Actually, I had left my phone at home, so that wasn't stolen. But the kids did steal some of my gear.
One of them asked to borrow my mallet and another asked to borrow my bike. Then I looked over while that was happening and two others were standing by my bag. I went over there and shut everything up, and they left immediately. I didn't notice that some of my kit was gone until after they left.
It was definitely them -- I pulled my kit out when I got there and then went to talk to Brian, and got distracted for a few minutes.
