For Sale: Bike split. 80s vintage. SR, Altus, Silstar.

I'm splitting a vintage bike which has been hanging around in my garage for some time.
Basically, everything except the wheels, block and chain are available. It's in the process of being cleaned but it all works well and shifts smoothly. New brake blocks and cables.

Elswick steel frame, 23" with Shimano BB and tange headset. SOLD

Shimano Altus LT six speed rear derailleur, Altus front derailleur, and very nice down tube shifters. £ 20 posted together or £7 each. FRONT MECH AVAILABLE.

Shimano Tourney deep drop brake calipers with lever adjusters, Shimano brake levers. £18 posted.

Silstar Campag-a-like chainset, 52/42 chainrings. Hardly any wear, SOLD

SR stem and bars, tape will be removed. Nice and clean bars, v few scuffs on exposed metal. Sakae Royal Road Champion bars. £20 posted together.

Wellgo SPD copy pedals. Nice clean mechanism with usual scuffs on edges. £8 posted.

PayPal is preferred but other methods are good too!

how deep is the drop on the brakes?

I'd say between 40mm and 62mm ish. From centre line of pivot bolt to top/bottom of brake block slot.

Can it take a rack?

Is it for 700c or 27"?

Ipokecows. Frame not quoted with post but it's yours for an extra fiver.
Steel tubes. I know not which. It has eyelets so will take a rack. The wheels in it are 700c so it will take both.

Loctez chain set yours. Frame TBA!

Oops. Undibs front derailleur - need braze on not band on.

Will still take the shifters and rear derailleur, though.
