What are you on about?

on its maiden voyage last night I was absolutely terrified in case I crashed it
The downtube clearance is pretty scary.

Yep, it's pretty special. So much so that on its maiden voyage last night I was absolutely terrified in case I crashed it. I'll get used to it tho I'm sure.
Get a knife and put a tiny little scratch on the TT should fix that feeling.

^ True Dat
i still feel sketchy riding all out on cobble stone road with mad clearance on a Cf road fork

Did you get that Woodrup built? Fucking amazing. They're my LFB... If you had it built, and if you don't mind me asking... what was the expense on the f&f?

• #73132
Nice fin de siècle feel to that Woodrup :)

I only got a punty 56t TA one, bit worried that a 64t TA would not clear the chainstay.
Want to try? I've got a 65t TA chainring laying around here doing nothing. You're looking at an extra 18mm radius going from 56 to 65

65t chainring...

Thanks. I think I should be good... I'll probably look to get a Tange Passage or similar (currently have a Tange Levin), just to be as low as possible.
Well this sucks. Steerer is way to short, with crown race fitted. Looks like I'm on the look out for some different forks :/ Cheapest I can find is Tokyo Fixed, but I don't want nice new shiny ones :/ Boo!

But the yellow was HOT.

Hmn, a new option appears...

Not sure they'll look right though.

Picked this up on a whim yesterday. Mid nineties alu track bike. Need to figure out what to do with it now though. Could put nicer period parts on it or go the slave route.
Love the oversized look and the paintjob has a fade of two shades of yellow with some pearl effect added. Quite fancy.
I think it looks good pretty much as is. I'd say switch the saddle, tyres and tape to black then ride.

Yep, had it built. Because pretty much everything was custom (lugs, geometry etc) and the 853 tubing it came out somewhere over a grand. It's a fairly ridiculous thing to have, but we've been doing quite a bit of business with woodrup at my shop, so wanted something totally amazing to show off the skill those guys have, and ultimately promote their brand. I think I've achieved that!

What?!

Bolt on skewer is worse than the QR you have at the moment. You will shear the head off the bolt before you can generate the skewer tension achievable with an ordinary Shimano internal cam skewer.
I know people have had problems with Phil track hubs (with their allen key bolts) so that figures.
I may be ok, but if no it looks like my options are a qr friendly chain tug or (if all else fails) and axle conversion.

What?!
skrtluv i really don't get you, and find alot of what you post really quite annoying
skrtluv. stop posting stupid shit all over the place
skrtluv majority of your posts make no fucking sense. Some of them try and sort of get there, but most of them just don't
I think I'm noticing a theme

Ignore function has stopped my complaints so far, but I was intrigued by what he wanted to say about repping... Bad idea really.

Not as much as I was expecting, when you look at the cost of their top end road frames.
Pretty tempted to pay them a visit... Where you have fillet brazed to cut lugs I think I'd like fillet brazed to those semi webbed lugs...
How's the ride?
luggs are so LegiT
have you ever worked your way through bars? i usually start with a riser and move on to bull horn/pursuits then finally drops
I find it helps make me familiar to adapt and progress.. baby steps
