Cheers guys... might have to ebay them, which is always a pain/shame.
Either that or repaint one of my frames so they would suit... (Can't do Silver and Gold). -

Come on people, don't make me put them on ebay...
£110 for these AMAZING wheels.

If so, buy these, swap rims to MA40 (almost the same ERD), flog OR7's - still a bargain.
Zeus hub is built to Campag spec at this price/condition it's worth it for the hubs alone, and in vintage world OR7's are pretty desirable (and obscenely lightweight) rim so you'll have no trouble selling them!
I haz these hubs and recommend them most highly
Good luck with your sale. -
• #14
You probably all know this but just in case you didnt, those Zeus hubs have Campagnolo compatible nuts...axles/locknuts.. lockring... (thats 50 quid right there just for parts..), the Zeus rear is a proper track hub which is the same width as a Campag road hub, basically meaning you can respace to 110mm for an older NJS frame, or vintage track bike.. can't do that with a Campag track hub (too wide), fantastic wheelset, I already have a set of these but would bite your arm off if i didnt already have a set,
Good luck with the sale!

Sheeet... cheers guys... I am tempted to swap the rims over and ebay the OR7's... but I like the idea of keeping them together too, going to list a few other bits for sale and if they go I might just hold on to these as opposed to give them away to be butchered.

There are some OR10's on ebay, same condition, $400. Hmmm...
-
• #18
I'd list them for £350 o.n.o on ebay and accept any offer you get over £250
-
• #19
Ha ha, ok then, I will do that, let you know how it goes...
-
• #20
just make sure you put "fixie time trial racing" in the title

Nice wheels. Would have loved these, but I neither have a track bike, nor do I ride brakeless. Good luck with ebaying them!

I'd buy these, I'm a newbie on here so can't pm you chrisbmx116 but if you still need some money and want rid of the wheels pm me!
Hi All,
I love these wheels but can't justify holding on to them...
Completely unused proper track wheels. Zeus rear hub and near matching (but not Zeus) front hub laced on to Mavic OR 7 rims in gold which were Mavics super light Time trial/Track rims (I believe) in 36h.
Wolber Classic 290 tubs, perfect unused condition, still holding 100 odd PSI no probs.
Straight, perfect, smooth, basically brand new bar a tiny bit of grime and dust from storage.
Looking for £150 but open to offers.
Lockring and random cog also included.
Cheers,
C.
