Condor Cyclocross Lever... Just to clear this up for myself... Can This lever be used as a stand alone and if so, how does it match up to braking power of conventional levers? I really like the look of these, but am sceptical about their performance.

I used it on my fixie with no problem

what colour are the bars?

Dark grey almost black. I had them on my Merckx with a black Cinelli stem and it looked great.
