Have a bump - just because someone should buy it. Its in such good condition.
(Which is why i want the wheels....... :) -

How much do you want the wheels?
-

Pour quoi?
I have a CAAD8 which i have had some great mileage out of, but the wheels are shot. Need another wheelset to keep me going at the weekends. -

I've actually found that the RS10s quite reliable and bombproof..
Only criticism is that it's a tad heavy but for its usual price it's pretty decent for what you get. 2500 miles of mostly london roads and still 100% true...
But good luck with the sale anyway. -

RS10s are tough as nails in my experience, but as with all cup and cone hubs, you need to keep on top of them with preventative maintenance. They are quite heavy, but they're only entry level wheels.

Back for sale again with one or two changes - £550 delivered, £500 collected.
Charge spoon saddle
New tyres (TBC) I'll knock £15 off if you take it without tyres.Adding to the previous description, the 2013 model is still £1049 and is unchanged from previous models except for downgrades to the mech and chain.

Dan in 'selling bike at a reasonable price' shocker!
-

The price drop reflects the fact it didn't sell first time round, and the fact that I've put about 500 more miles onto it and it has one or two more small scratches.
I still reckon I'll get over £500 on eBay if I wait until the spring, so I won't be dropping it further.

Yes, I was pointing out that it was good value you numpty.

Is this still available? Potentially interested delivered without pedals and tyres. Might be a bit big though...just checking.

Still available and getting intermittent interest - PM me as I don't check the thread. Backup plan is to sell on eBay in the spring.

Now sold.
Not used much, maybe 1000 miles - a few tiny scratches (pics available on request) from storage, but unless you're really inspecting it, it looks great. The drivetrain has plenty of life left; the original chain is not even 1% worn yet. The wheel and b/b bearings spin free, with no play.
Extensively hydroformed aluminium frame, with a tall headtube for the taller rider. I'm 6ft 2" and it was a massive improvement in fit over my previous bike with its tiddly 170mm headtube. The frame is astonishingly comfortable for aluminium - certainly better at damping vibration than the Genesis Equilibrium that it replaced. This bike changed my mind about steel v aluminium. Basically, decent, hydroformed aluminium frames like this ride as good, if not better than basic steel frames, and since you pay such a premium for a steel frame, why bother? You're just buying yourself a weight penalty and slightly better dent resistance.
It's BB30, so pretty future-proof (you can run adaptors for older B/B standards if required). Carbon fork and carbon-wrap seatpost. The tyres are from my previous bike and will be replaced before sale. Also, they aren't an accurate representation of mileage.
This is a 2011 model, but the 2012 had only minor changes (not really upgrades) and the 2013 model has actually been downgraded while the price has stayed between £1000-1100.
Bearing the above in mind, as well as the fact I'm in no rush to sell, it's £550 including UK postage. £500 if you collect from Birmingham.
