Could you show if there is a club on the fork crown or cut out of the bottom bracket?
Does it say Colnago anywhere?I doubt it

looked at this bike four times.
And it's still not making any sense.
I will say though that the higher the asking price the more photographs
the seller should post (or link to). IMHO. -

1st point, i've bought this bike some year ago, and i can garantee to you that this is a Colnago, if it isn't the Mexico i don't know, but after some comparisons on the net, i see some identical points on it. For what i've known this bike has been refurbished, so the chrome parts on the back anchors are now black. I will post a photo of the bottom braket so you can see the colnago mark on it.

Any pics of the similar frames? I'm not saying it's fake, but I've not seen any Colnago's like it before

Oh that's alright then

the seat cluster alone is a big NO
Gotta agree. I've owned most Colnago over the years. That seat cluster is like nothing I have ever seen.

It's similar to that of an Oval CX model, though missing club cut outs and other differences

Agreed. Similar. But not the same.
Colnago of that period had very simple, smart, seat stay brazings. That stay cluster is a mess. Maybe its a Colnago, maybe it isn't.
But Colnago is the most 'faked' frame manufacturer.

Maybe it IS a Colnago.
But its not a Mexico.

I can't define now what is right or wrong....i also tought that this was a Colnago, maybe some kind of model, not the México, the similarities are just on the decals with the Mexico model. Can anyone tell me which frame this could be by the bottom braket marks.

you need to start embracing the idea that this is not a Colnago
Hi guys, i'm selling this marvellous Colnago México steel vintage bicycle from my private collection. This "pearl" comes equipped with:
I'm asking: 1000 pounds + 41 pounds (shipping costs to any country on europe)
Any questions, please feel free to ask me anything. The bicycle is in Portugal.
Cheers
