Selling this bike on behalf of a friend. He supplied the following info + pics.
"This bike used to be a Balk track frame. After the Merckx factory confirmed this was actually built there I had it resprayed and redecaled by Special Paintworks. Decals were produced by Cyclomondo. Also, the fork has been rechromed.
After I had the frame resprayed I rebuilt the bike using mainly Campagnolo parts, even the grease is Campagnolo. Some of my favorite details are the Croce d'Aune pedals, the beautiful headset and the Wolber TX Profil rims.
Since then the bike has seen little time on the road. It has always stood inside my living room and therefore is in mint condition.
The frame's serial number is F7352 followed by a 9 turned 45 degrees to the right. According to the factory, the frame was built in 1998.

Seattube: C-T 58 cm, C-C 56,5 cm
Headtube: 16 cm
Seat: San Marco Regal
Seatpost: Campagnolo Chorus or Record Aero

Chainring: Tevano 48T (pictured) + Extra 52T Campa chainring

Stem: Cinelli Engraved with Eddy Merckx lettering 115 mm
