Just received mine today, once fitted it actually sticks out quite far so does look like it will work quite well.

Never did have them. Did have the Windor folding ones, which are a proper length. But don't stock them at the moment.

hmm... I am a bit sceptical
- it Looks like too much movement will wiggle it loose.
- When its raining and windy I can see fixie riders chasing after their £7 investment as it blows away.
Am I wrong? If it is great and this doesn't happen I will definitely buy. But from when I was a kid we use to do this for a mudguard and it always use to come off when it was too windy/rainy etc.
Honestly I hope I am wrong. Any experienced users through the elements.

I threw mine out last week, waste of money...

Been using one for about a year. It doesn't wiggle loose at all. Doesn't blow around either.
Only time it moves is if I'm a bit clumsy getting off and knock it.
Coverage isn't as good as a mudguard but stops that wet ass feeling in the damp and reduces the crap in the wet.

I really like mine. Stays put, easy to remove and pack in my bag, and it keeps my arse mainly dry. I can never stay that dry in the rain, but this stops a constant spray of water up my arse like a bidet from occurring.

I am dredging this anger. These things suck! Why are they in every bike shop? You suck ass savers

No.
What clearance? On my bike? 2mm isn't a lot.
