To yank out most of the functional parts i've bought myself this nice set of tools:
I had no idea about reasonable prices for those tools, but according to ebay's 'buy it now' prices it gave me at least the idea of getting it for a bargain :-) There used quite little, maybe just a few times.
And also some NOS decals:
So, i've stripped down the frame and asked for quotes at some paintshops. I've decided to make it the original bronze / champagne like color. It's not cheap, but since i got the frame for a good price i guess it's worth it. Dunno about chroming the fork yet, because it is quite expensive.
Anybody tips on how to protect the threads in the bottom bracket for the sandblasting? Or is it a unnecessary concern :-)
