The square on the stem is indeed for a baby seat (used once, not popular) and I have since whipped it off.
Just in case anyone watching is in the market, it is one of these in black and would be available by separate negotiation...
I prefer a rear-mounted seat as my legs are too long.
Weight-wise I'm not 100% sure. Quite a bit less than a 'normal' Pashley as this was a concern when we bought it, I would guess at 13-14kg based on experience but it is really just a guess. Best to lift it yourself!
