Paralell-push is awesome to see it in action: beautiful, sound, clever mechanism. Then you start fiddling with the components and realize that every single little part needs a bit of manufacturing tolerance. Every little tiny component can jiggle a tiny bit (sometimes a more than a tiny bit) and then you realize that the whole assembly is jiggly as hell, which would be ok if it didn't affect the braking. It is then you start to realize, why didn't they just make it one solid/strong/rigid piece? I would just brake better....
Paul motolites or Avid Ultimates FTW.
Bollocks. I ran XTR for 2 years, never a wobble or jiggle.
Discs however, are much better. People who don't have discs are just scared of them. I remember when I first used them at polo, and no-one else was, all the haters were saying shit like "They should be banned, someone might get their finger chopped off"
Ok, so now that loads of people use them, has this ever happened?
