  • Have we not covered this is some detail before? Customs paperwork needs to describe what it is, so on shipping it to them it's "returned for repair", no import taxes, and when they ship back to you it's "repaired item" and you get taxed on the value of the repair.

    Not this question, no.

    However it is reassuring that there is a process for warranty work to be performed without duty being levied.
