The adjustability/replaceability* sound good, especially for polo, and I like US exotica as much as the next man, but IMO parallel-push is cleverer**. And if you're front brake only and have XT/XTR the servo-wave function offers a theoretical benefit.
Massive generalisation, but US CNC stuff seems beautiful/simple/serviceable whereas Japanese high-end stuff is boring/ingenious/fiddly. I prefer the latter, but have a lot of time for the former.
