  • narrower as in takes up less rail length (saddle's front to back), not rail spacing.

    {considering from a drive side view}

    issue is that i need a saddle bag mount, which takes up a lot of rail {left}. so when i run a saddle like the knife only the front {right} part of the rail is left for the post clamp - which sets the saddle back {left}.

    as far as i can see the solutions:

    1. saddle with longer {wider} rails
    2. post with shorter {narrower} clamp
    3. post set forward?!?!

    supertype is a no go as i need 25cm+ above insertion

    Narrower as in narrower rail spacing?
