  • Selling elsewhere.

~~ I’m loath to sell it as it really is beautiful in the flesh but it’s just slightly too small for me to make any practical use of, I did have someone interested in it but it fell through so I’m offering it up to someone else (hopefully it can stay within the forum).

It’s a Reynolds 853 Makino keirin frame (NJS stamped) with Dura Ace headset included.
60cm ST (CTT), 59cm TT (CTC).
Made for Team GB rider Matthew Crampton.

There are some better photos in the raffle thread but here’s what it looks like in my room:

    Thanks L~~

  • You should raffle it

  • Raffle list:

pretty sure he means loath. (I'm loath...)

  • shouldnt he hate it intensely to sell such a nice frame?

  • not really haha, most people in the raffle were gonna sell it

  • With a frame like that, 'slightly too small' is buy a longer stem territory.

Well it's actually just too small and slightly too small to be worth using a long stem & far too much seat post. Which is a shame as it's very nice - the pictures don't to the paint/glittery decals justice really.

Anyway - I forgot to mention in the post that it's now located in Clapham so anyone that's interested in buying is more than welcome to come down look or check for fit...

  • Price drop --> £725.

Will leave it on here for another week in case anyone wants to make a decent offer then it'll have to go to the wolves.

  • how much did you pay to win this frame?

I think you'd get a bit more interest from people on here if you were to sell it at a more bargainous price.

buyer gets a wicked frame for a good deal and you are still hundreds of pounds in the plus and everyone feels good...

  • no one wants bike made for stupid gaijin from stupid gaijin metal

this, i would be interested if the price was a bit lower.

  • plus, compare your dodgy photo to the ones Pistoffski took.

that ain't a good start to a sales thread.

    yeah you and everyone else
in fact i'd take it righrt now at £10 if it was offered
geezer won his prize fair and square

  • and considering Pistoffski had an offer of £900 for it, I'd say it's cheap(ish))

  • I was serious when I said make a raffle.
but I wouldnt be sure if anybody offered 900 for it...

  • regardless of if the frame is worth it or not.

  • im not talking £10, just a little bit of a better price, pass on the good deal, and still make hundreds in the process

  • i'll give you £400 for that cannondale

  • if "that cannondale" cost me a tenner, id bite your hand off

  • was this albatross even worth £11?
