Wanted: IT person required

Can anyone on here recommend an IT person/company who does home & office call outs?

Depends what you want them for?

Networking issues. Modem to router to Readynas issues to be more precise. My usual IT man is only able to operate remotely now & I've got some issue that need someone on site.

Someone on here does IT home calls, remember seeing them post about it.

I am really struggling to find someone to come over and do some simple(ish) IT work. Basically I would like some one to set up my wireless system with the new router and modem I bought.

Paid work anyone?

Have you tried turning it off and on yet?

I feel like binary, all I seem to do is turn the current router on, then off, then on, then off, then on, then off. It is old and struggles with transferring larges amounts of data now, it seems to need a rest after each go.

New router time?

yep.

New router, modem and a couple of HD's in the process too. Just a bit beyond my knowledge & I'm too busy with work to learn how to sort it atm.

Where are you based? If you are in East London I would recomend 'Technical bloke', google him he is based in N16.
