More advice please. Just went for a 10K run this morning, had a slightly different knee pain from normal (I'd noticed it felt odd yesterday too), now if I'm standing up my right knee cap seems to float entirely free of the joint. It's not painful at the moment, and seems to sit back into place when the knee is flexed/ sitting down, but I'm slightly worried.
Reading up on it suggests that it's probably not actually dislocated, and that RICE is the answer.
Edit - seems like the moment the leg is tensed it sits back into place, which is good I guess. Will take it carefully over the next couple of days
