One day recently on The Cut I rolled up to the Blackfriars junction behind two fashionable young guys doing a backy / croggy on a hire bike: The front guy pedalling was waiting with foot down, the backee was sitting on the saddle, feet hanging outwards, hands too embarrassed to hold onto his pal's waist... like doing a star jump. He reminded me of those balancing clown toys.
I was chuckling away when a commuter woman rolled up and stopped next to me.
I nodded toward them and said very loudly "oooh that's very metrosexual isn't it?".
I'm glad to say she cracked up.
