I would've asked for the seat stays to be placed lower too, but that's a personal preference I suppose.
Still looks good though.

Yes, it looks okay but I ordered a pursuit and really loved the sloping top tube.
Can you maybe add a little to the comments? I will write him that the seat tube angle is not as specified (to low). I just need good arguments I think.

he can't really argue with a wrong angle. and wrong measurements as well.

Just measure all the bits you can and see if you can find anything different from what you asked for.
I've got a geeling the seat tube is too short or the top tube is too long. Seat tube c-c should be 54cm and top tube (effective c-c) should be 53cm. Also are you sure that headtube is 12cm?

Sounds like Robert needs to employ a graduate-level CAD monkey to confirm geos with both customer and builder before work starts.

put 650c wheel and fork on it

Looks good, the toptube is sloped, but i would use a normal road handlebar.

Seat tube definitely looks slacker than headtube.
-
• #2561
It does have a downward sloping tube though? Isn't it just not as prominent because it's a small size?
Some smaller lows don't have a huge drop

• #2562
Id say it hasnt;

The angels are also obviously not the same. Why dont u just contact Robert about it, Im sure hes a decent chap and u'll work something out (either u send it back and he remakes it/new one - or he should offer a discount) ?

I'm in contact with him now. He just said there couldn't be a mistake so I had to get some arguments :-)! But I have seen 53 Low Pursuits and they have plenty of slope.

• #2565
He said that to Rincewind too, his was very wrong.
-
• #2566
They calculate with 368mm fork height, just sayin
-
• #2567
ill post this 54 size pursuit here to get a comparison. Seat tube on yours looks way shorter.

was Rincewind's part of the bulk order, or he ordered independantly?
-
• #2569
Independent and custom polo geo, so more likely to go wrong, but it was quite wrong. Still rides quite nicely but not what he asked for.

• #2570
Hey any pics of the "new" dropouts? Really wanna see them before placing an order.

oh god thats even worse

disclaimer: those aren't the new trackends

you got me there

WOW! Almost died!
[strike]I think you got the measurements wrong. The c-c seat tube length on a Low Pursuit is actually 54cm. This is why you didn't get the bro-pro look you were aiming for.[/strike]
Just read back to your last post with your measurements. Maybe they did 54cm c-t on the seat tube?
