I did before building it, and it becomes dull rather quickly, it's always better than the original finish though.

Hi guys!
I have just put some wheels on my mielec bike. Sorry to say but big disappointment.I'm pretty sure the frame has some wrong measurements. Unless my degrees are not working. The geometri also looks wrong.
I gave them the measurements of a low pursuit in 53.Frame 53cm
top tube length c-c (effective) 530
seat tube length c-c 540
seat tube angle 75
head tube angle 74.5
head tube height 120
bottom bracket drop 45
chainstay length 385
stand-over(avg.) 811
wheelbase 945
fork rake 30This is what I got:
http://imageshack.us/a/img21/9606/imagelkm.jpgFor me there must be something wrong. I get the angles to 65 degrees and not 75. But it would be nice to get some help from one with more knowledge regarding frames.
Thx in advance

you know that you can get both sloping toptube and horizontal toptube on those angles? did you specify?
because the angles look ok, from what can be seen in the picture -

That's superb information thanks. I wrote copy of a low pursuit frame and added pictures.
Some of the lengths should be wrong then? -

Some of the lengths should be wrong then?no, I think you can make a frame with the specs you mentioned in both pursuit and traditional top tube style.
Or maybe they just fucked up, dont really know. -

I ordered a traditional HS on my "Mashec" and was thinking of getting the Alpina fork, but am wondering how much a rake of 30 will feel compared to 35, will I notice the difference?

Are those fake 3T forks for IHS or normal?
-
• #2542
Maybe they copied the "track standard" from low. Either way it looks awesome, shame that's not what you wanted.
-
• #2543
Maybe but as you said. Not what I asked for :-(!

Thank you sir! Much appreciated!

whut??? the head tube angle looks like 75°, but the seat tube looks really slack. however, not as ordered (seat tube steeper than head tube).
