So, im trying to take apart my Mavic Ellipse Hub for service, and for replacing the bearings, both front and rear. I can't take off the adjusting nuts, and cant remove the axle. I remove the fork support nuts of course, than i insert an allen key on one side in the axle and the provided mavic tool on the other side, on the adjusting nut. It screws off pretty easily, but at some point it suddenly stops. It really feels that something stopping it from coming off, and its not the threads on the axle. The interesting is that this happens on both hubs, on the same spot. Is there any o-ring that i have to remove first in order to remove the axle and the adjusting nuts? Or am i doing something totally wrong?
