[not spotted related]I feel like I should've learnt this by now but is there some kind of trick to dealing with this (beyond a heavier bike)? Today I was swept into the path of oncoming traffic on Tower Bridge and last week I was blown from primary in the middle lane on London Bridge into the left turning lane (I wasn't intending to turn left so this wasn't particularly helpful).
I notice there often seems to be a strong wind blowing south up the bridge from the tower?
I guess if you are being blown by the wind, you try to follow the general path but deviate at the same time. Like when you put your hand out a car window. Or sailing. or something.

Keep seeing a lovely looking Eddy Merckx road bike locked up on Torrington Place, all on its own. I always really hope it's in the owner's sight...

Fellow who led the Cambridge LFGSS x YACF november ride on Pearson at Waterloo bridge ... I'm rubbish at names.
Think I spotted cafewanda at some point recently, possibly last friday. I've never met them so I'm not sure. Have spotted this person at Clapham Junction before, think this time was in Southwark.
csb huh.

Girl with blonde curly hair, skate lid, yellow Ortlieb backpack, baby blue single speed with red stripes, double leather strap toe cages, and white drops. Spotted first undertaking me moving off at a traffic light on Kings Avenue, then pulling out of a gap in stationary traffic without looking right in front of me a little further up the same road while I was overtaking the cars on the right. Then blasting past me through a zebra crossing while peds were walking over it. Then one of those painful "I'm going to overtake this bus that's moving off! If I just accelerate I can do it! I'm definitely faster than a bus! Nnnnnng!" manoeuvres on CS7. Then loads of overtaking slower commuters before pulling back in centimeters from their front wheels without looking. Then jumping a red light onto Elephant and Castle. I have no idea what you did after that as our routes diverged there, but I'm guessing you probably rode like a bellend aaaaaaall the way to work.
Also I saw a taxi driver and a lorry driver having a big out-of-the-cab argument in the middle of the road on Southwark Street. Two of my least favourite drivers! All it needed was a BMW and an Addy Lee cab to turn up and the four of them to start punching fuck out of each other for it to be the perfect morning.

How are they attached? I see a bracket that the pedals are resting on. Is it just balanced or have you got a clamp there?
