This was my first proper steel bike and my student steed. Grew quite fond of it, got a job and bizarrely decided to renovate every part despite never intending to ride it again. Bought a host of new bits then discovered the seatpost was stuck like s**t to a stick. Melted it out using caustic soda and totally ruined parts of the paintwork in the process. Built it up nonetheless. never rode it then stole the long-reach brakes for another build.
WLTM: long-legged rider with a penchant for obscure Austrian bike manufacturers a a spare set of super long-reach brakes (like these) and a paintshop.
It's priced only to recoup what I somewhat foolishly paid for the rebuild. OR, I'll split if I can find a buyer for the frame (£25) and wheels & tyres & cassette (£70).
Frame: Lugged, lovely, but probably in need of a total respray
Wheels: NEW - 27in, quando hubs on weinmann rims with NEW casette
BB: NEW - Shimano sealed
Crankset: unknown 52t
Pedals: Lyotard (I think). Can include cages and straps.
Derailleur: Sachs Huret
Seatpost: unknown and part-rusted
Saddle: unknown but I think it's a bit of a looker
Headet: unknown
Bars + stem: unknown
Levers: dual-position weinmann
Tyres: NEW - cheapo DSI
Cables, chain, tubes: ALL NEW
I'm selling an old 62cm Puch. Paintwork problems and no brakes. Otherwise decent bike. Advert below. Original thread here: http://www.lfgss.com/thread100794.html#post3391326
2. Puch five-speed (sans brakes), 62cm - £110 or split (more pictures on this link)
