No, I've been through this on my project thread. This setup is fine. Most of that stack is from the headset cap anyway.

There's very little drop from the saddle to bars as is.

The drop is at the bottom of the drop bars, you don't need an aggressive riding position on the top of the drops.

Black seatpost clamp wouldn't go a miss either.

Yeah, that clamp came with the frame actually. Will be replaced with a Thomson clamp soon enough.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'll endeavour to have you all loving it by the summer months. This is my day to day ride now. The Giant is going to be made ready for the track soon too.
