Should we start a mission to build the most universally reviled/nerged bike possible? So far it would have black-spoked wheels with silver nipples, mixed colour rims, a spongywonder saddle, mudguards, trekking and tri-bars (misaligned naturally) on an adjustable stem, u-brakes (or no brakes with gears), organic-looking cranks all hung on a melted-looking hybrid frame and adorned with colour-matched grips, tyres, plastic pedals and chain etc.

The weird thing is I suspect it would be really expensive to build such a monstrosity.

What a load of bollox. I wonder how many they have sold? They would be a nightmare off road. You'd be constantly hitting the elbow bit on rocks and the like..

Hey, I'm not hating on mudguards I have chromoplastics on both my bikes and they stay there year round. I'm just echoing the views of the people as laid out in this thread. Not a big fan of the gimmicky ones though.
