Hi.
Welcome to lfgss.
I hope your time in the nursery wasn't too arduous.
I think you should have a look around the classifieds and see what £700 gets you here and rethink your price.
Thanks

Thanks but is a near new build which cost more then the ask price. Feel free to make a lower offer.

Mind if I ask how much? (to save me time working it out)

The complete bike, lower-spec components of course, off Pearson's website is £650. Now with the best will in the world I think you're overreaching here.
Second hand is always second hand, no matter what the components. Best of luck, I'd try my luck with £500 ONO

I think, as ever, that if you want strong money for it then eBay is the way to go.
You might be able to get £500 for it there, if you list it well and get some interest.

Considering its a relatively new build and the spec of the wheels, crankset and other compents. That compared to the standard model you can but complete, its a good price! good luck with the sale.

^ harveybrown has good reason for that comment:

why would anybody buy a used bike, even if it is only 4 or 5 months old, when they can go and get one new for 50 quid more? bikes are like cars and many other things. once you use them, they devalue a lot.

Because of the much higher quality spec.

Because of the much higher quality spec.
As with all things, you're buying a bike/car/house that the previous owner has specced up with something of his/her own choice. You're not buying the bike because of the cranks, the car because of the aftermarket turbo, or the house for the kitchen appliances.
If the seller wants to squeeze out as much as possible then splitting is the way to go imo.
But as always the seller can ask whatever he or she wants, and kudos to him if he gets good money for it. This might just be a bit too early in the season.

I'd be interested in the saddle if you split

is this the one that just went for £280 on ebay?

perhaps £600 was a little optimistic then...

predictable!
