Why have a layback seatpost when you put the clamp the saddle rails at the front? I guess you may not have sat on it yet to get the setup right, but you could have made it look better for photos you are posting on the internet.
Also, the risers look better with that stem, the drops are ugly as fuck.
How long did you wait for the frame?
Layback seat post puts the saddle back, clamping at the front of the rails puts it back even more. I have "sat" on it, but not ridden it. Still going to see what to do with the spacer situation, I had the shop put in 2 spacers, and I'll see if I run them below, or above the stem, or at all.
I just wanted to get a few quick pictures up, and wasn't meticulous enough about those items.
The stem is 100mm 0 Degree, but I have a 130mm -10 Degree on its way. Hopefully the drops look (and feel) better with that stem.
There were some issues with the frame, so my wait doesn't reflect the normal wait.
Got a pic of it set up for outdoors?
It has potential! These are temporary wheels, I am building up ones specific for this bike in the near future (Archetype to Phil Wood LF), and am only using it on rollers at the moment.
I am heading to a velodrome in a few weeks, so I will have to put outdoor tires on and will hopefully get some better pictures.

130 stem, layback and saddle pushed back... perhaps a bigger frame required?

It's not that the frame is small, it's that with the length of my femur and the 175mm cranks, I wanted to be a bit farther behind the BB. I have yet to ride it, so I will see how it feels.
It's a 62cm, perhaps longer cranks (these are 175mm) would have been a better option, but then the BB is too low for that.

that sounds big.

Good luck getting cranks longer than 175mm
A bike fit would solve all your troubles -

A bike fit would solve all your troublesSRAM Omniums come in 180mm, but I was worried about pedal strike and I want to spin.

Nice bikes Mark, agreed the yellow is nicer. Good to hear TM is keeping his.
The Low is rad, nothing wrong with those bars if you ask me, spyder will always be anti though! And the red tyres.

I got rid of the Spyder, mostly because it flexed too much under my weight. I put the Fizik Arione on.
The red tyres are indoor trainer tires, and I didn't feel like going through the trouble of putting outdoor tires on, taking a picture, then putting the trainer tires back on.

me? no dude.. and thx!

• #18542
Yup!
Hugely neg stem + giant spacer stack, just why?Granted it doesn't look right with those bars but I think it looks rad on something like this
I reckon it's up there with running a Jag stem n risers or an angled up stem and pursuit bars. Doesn't make sense, it's not practical but it looks slave as fuck imo. -

Au contraire, if a bike makes total sense it's not a hhsb in my eyes.
A true hhsb is RADICULOUS.
