Does anyone have experience of using a Campagnolo pre-2001 9 speed rear derailleur with post-2001 10 speed shifters and a 10 speed cassette? The great Sheldon says they don't completely line up but it's nothing to worry about. However, given the closeness of the cogs at the back I'm worried it might not work...
I'm wondering about using an all alloy rear derailleur instead of carbon...Should be fine, both derailleurs have to move the same amount from 1 to 9/10. You might want to replace the 9 speed jockey wheels with 10 speed though.
