Have a look at the Wing TT version of the Alpina fork on my Dolan, 'Cannibal Dolan' a couple of pages back on Current Projects. It is stiff as a very stiff thing and may be a good compromise for you between road and track forks. It works for me and I love the look of it, but I have very poor taste....
