I have never tried to engrave onto metal, I assume its alloy, which is quite soft so I dont think it would be a problem. If you wanted to laser engrave a logo onto it you could probably do it. I believe there are companies that offer a laser service and that is the best way to go about it. Basically the cutter I used is like a giant printer with an automatic head that goes back and forth cutting the pattern.
I would say you should try to find a company in your area that runs such a service and ask them if they will do it. They will need a CAD drawing of whatever logo or text/picture you want
