The frame is now back from Mario Vaz, I picked it up on saturday. I am really pleased with the colour. I was not sure what to go for and took the decision with Mario when I left the frame with him. I went to see the frame sand blasted before giving the final go ahead for enamelling, and it turned up that the lug work was a bit messy, and the rust had made a bit of cosmetic damage here and there. Structurally it felt sound, no cracks, etc... Impossible to garantee 100% anyway, but I will ride in confidence.
So Mario had to do a bit of tidying around the lugs and a bit of filling, and I think the final result is very good considering the original state of the frame. He suggested the "french touch" of the "blue/white/red" flag on the seat tube panel. That looks pretty cool I think, also I really like the fact that the white of the Witcomb downtube transfers and the the panels is slightly off-white. OK enough talking, thanks to Mario on this one!

Always wanted a Witcomb (living in New Cross and all), and always had a weakness for Nervex... Really looking forward to seeing this one done!
