I've recently bought a silca as a xmas present to myself.
In all honesty it doesn't do anything my Jo Blow (2-3yrs old) didn't already do. Plus I found the valve connection a bit tricky. Still it looks lovely and I'm sold by the replaceable parts.
Some else made a good point that the best pump is the one you don't lend anyone.
