Me and him are planning to do the North Sea route this summer; getting the ferry to HvH, heading as far north as we can be bothered, stopping for a day in Amsterdam then getting the train back to the ferry port. Can anyone recommend a hotel in Amsterdam with good bike parking facilities? I really don't fancy leaving them locked up outside overnight. Alternatively, parking near the train station would probably work as long as it's secure enough to prevent someone walking off with your bike.
