There are probably pumps that are easier to use, more efficient etc and perfectly sturdy enough to last a while in home use but I've worked in a few workshops and Rennkompressors are the only pumps that can take sustained heavy usage.
Silca are pretty close behind and I'm a big fan of the Joe Blows from several years ago too.
