  • Prices are a little higher out here, and multiplied by the amount shots I would like to take, well...

  • fuuu, was out last night and must have got some condensation on the rear element.

    Too much info.

  • [QUOTE=ltc;3371888]I just found this which I took last year on a 35mm Olympus Pen, split frame jobby.

    +1=1/2+1/2, double good.
what's the film, what's the spots?

  • cheap Konica Big Mini here

  • Latest tumblrrrrrr.

  • Right, same photo - two different scans (from the same place?).

This is why finding the right lab/tech is so important.

    I am confused!

  • adds Grayson to friends list

    I am confused!

Sometimes it's just a matter of giving them a once over on a computer and making a few adjustments rather than the Noritsu we use. Sometimes things look fine on the Noritsu and then shit when you open them on the computer.

  • Also in other news, I just got myself this Toyo 45a
    ![](http://i.ebayimg.com/t/Toyo-Field-45A-Film-Camera-with-135mm-f-5-6-Lens-EXCELLENT-/00/s/NzM2WDExMDQ=/$(KGrHqNHJEoFDOFzhYuDBQ3hpyt1r!~~60_12.JPG)
and now have a Graflex Speed Graphic with a 135mm Lens that I have no use for if anyone is interested in it before it heads to ebay?

  • Ballpark figure for the speed graphic?

  • Will be interested in what you sell for it, sounds the same as my camera.

  • Ballpark figure for the speed graphic?

    Somewhere around the £100 mark.

  • Cheers! Here's some more, hope you like them.

  • Last two are top notch.

  • the football field is perfect for me.
    though i never play football.

  • Last four are cracking.

  • I've got one of these i would like to sell, i've seen them sell on ebay for £140-180

Shutter fires accurately, aperture and shutter adjustments all good, focusing is smooth, minimal dust within the lens etc

    £80 posted?

Edit: offers are welcome, otherwise i'll be putting this on ebay next week

  • ~~More RB67 problems.

Now when I set the flash terminal to x (for electronic flashes) rather than M (for Magnesium flashes) the flash doesn't fire at all.

Any ideas? We checked the flash (Vivitar 285) with a DSLR and it fired fine.~~

Fixed it, at the expense of 4 frames. FFS.

  • Rtfm?

  • Tracking back a bit but amey Id recommend getting a film loading bag so you can load film on to the reel wherever you are.

Just keep practising with cheap c41 rolls.

  • Not too bad this time of year - in warmer weather I have trouble with hot hands leading to perspiration & damp where things need to be absolutely dry.

Also leads to difficulties with hoefla's suggestion of starting the wind at head height.

Ideal world would have you with a dark room and a changing bag. Mostly I carry a changing bag against the occasions when a 'classic' (irony?) suffers mechanical issues, allowing the back to be opened away from home without spoiling a part exposed film.

Havind said that, a bag is smaller and cheaper than a room, and avoids the need to shout at people because they don't understand that light is faster than them opening and shutting a door with a sign on the handle.

    Keep practising...

  • just noticed there's an M6 body for sells over in Classifieds, if anyone's looking...

^ I don't have nearly as much experience with film dev as a lot of people on this thread, and none teaching others. YMMV etc.

  • That doesn't make your opinion of any less value - if there was one 'right' answer we'd all be doing the same!

I've had students argue in favour of pulling holding the entire film out and holding everything up. I don't doubt it works, but I've also had to intervene when one elbows another in the head - accidentally, of course. Different circumstances to working on your own.

Then there's always the possibility that I'm talking rubbish, was never any good as a teacher, and the best approach is to try different things, absorb the cost, and find what works for you...
