I think we've got to keep trying to engage people. Having a specific 'beginners' day should make it more accessible.
I was thinking of posting it on Birmingham cyclist, announcing on the uni bike project email list and getting friends to come down. Let's try the sunday or wednesday after march critical mass then]
Have no idea when the March CM is but think this is a good idea. I think we need to set this up and advertise the f*ck out of it. If we get a good turnout we can see about regular newbie practice but I think for the time being lets focus efforts on the end of March.
I have a few bits of gas pipe knocking round the house so we could make some mallets up with cheaper heads and poles then loan them out.
Agree with wentski and Hyper that we need to get this outheir on other networks than LFGSS. As EMM said at the meeting would be good after the newbie session to have a bit of a social - even if its a couple of pints in the Dog?
